Practices will be held at:

On Fridays from 7:30 P.M - 9:00 P.M
Winter 2024 session will start January 12th and will end prior to March break on March 15th, 2024.
How much does it cost?
Each seassion (10 or 11 practices) costs $105.00 CAD and is payable online directly to our director, Angela Sommer of Angelkeys Music Studio. Register Now >
Do I need to audition?
Absolutely not! Dive right in without the audition jitters; we believe every voice has its own magic, and we can't wait to hear yours shine, no pressure!
Is this vocal group only for women?
Yes, at this time, the Harmonious Divas is only for women. If you are a teen or are looking for a choral group for your child, please check out one of the other vocal groups here.
What kind of songs will we sing?
Ooh, the musical world is our oyster! 🎶 Our song selections are fueled by the collective passion of our choir members, rather than being solely director-led. From the sizzling Roaring 20s to the vibrant vibes of the 2020s, our repertoire knows no bounds. Pop, jazz, classical tunes, and beyond – if it stirs our souls, we'll give it a whirl. Whether we're channeling the deep echoes of "Sound of Silence" or the ethereal tones of "Celtic Women", the only limit is our imagination. Let's harmonize across the ages together!
Do we need to read music and do we need to memorize all of our songs?
No and No! 🎵 Can't read music or worried about memorizing songs? Fear not! Feel free to bring your recording device/phone to practices, and we've got you covered with printable lyrics. Plus, Angela, our piano maestro, will gladly share MP3s and midi files for those trickier tunes. As for performances, just be your fabulous self and go with what feels right—no memorization needed!
Will we be provided with printed music/folders/etc.?
Great question! While we won't be handing out music, printouts, or binders, we value the diverse needs of our members. Whether you're Team iPad, Team Printed Lyrics, or somewhere in between, you're welcome to choose your preferred method. Just a heads up: every Diva will need to channel their inner tech-whiz to access Angelkeys Music Studio online and download necessary PDFs, MP3s, and audio files. Alas, no CDs or thumb drives will be provided from our end—just a digital symphony at your fingertips!
Is this a religious choir?
No, we aren't a religious or church choir. Although our rehearsals find a home in a church space, we don't have any church affiliations. And yes, while the festive spirit of Christmas might bring some Christian tunes to our repertoire, it's all in the spirit of the season! Importantly, our song choices are collaborative decisions, made together as a harmonious community
